You're called to the tarot. There's just something about it. Perhaps you have goals of becoming a professional reader or you want incorporate reading for yourself and your loved ones into your spiritual practice.

You read some books and try out card layouts that others have created. Maybe you try a pre-recorded class session you find on the internet. Your desire to connect with the tarot, like it's an old friend, is still there, but it feels overwhelming. Frustrating. And perhaps, a little lonely.

Prophecy Posse
teaches you the art of
divination
We will dig deep into the mechanics of both the tarot and divination as a whole. We will delve into topics that all readers should consider, such as examining where the messages we receive are actually coming from and how our own filters, biases, ethics and values come into play as we divine for ourselves and others.
Last, but not least, we will take what we have learned from the tarot and practice applying the same principles to other forms of divination, so we never feel like we are dependent on only one tool.
The tarot is beautiful and meaningful, but at the end of the day, it's pretty pictures on pieces of paper. The magic resides in you!
The Prophecy Posse is a 3-month deep dive into divination using tarot as our base. Capped at 22 students, it's not just a class. It's a community, led by a teacher with decades of experience. We start on April 25th.
We'll cover the tarot from the ground up while also working on skills such as channeling, utilizing grounding and protection strategies, and experimenting with concepts such as:

And...access to four Folk Magic Fundamentals classes, as part of a brand-new class series Sterling is piloting from late May through early July! Dates, topics, and times will be released in late April.
Registration cost
The Prophecy Posse application opens on March 15, 2024 with a special rate of $985. Early registration ends on April 1, 2024 and the price will increase to $1,250. Payment options include Afterpay and PayPal, which both offer Buy Now, Pay Later payment plan options.

Hi! I'm Sterling Moon and I'll be your teacher and guide throughout Prophecy Posse. I started reading tarot in 1995 and have been reading and teaching professionally since 2013. Please check out the 'About me' page to learn more.
You can definitely find lower cost programs to learn tarot, but...I'm going to be honest...you typically get what you pay for. I personally have invested decades of time and significant resources into my own practice, well before I became a professional reader and teacher. I have cultivated discipline and devotion to my tarot and divination skills, as well as my mediumship and folk magic practices. This is what I do full-time. It's not just how I make my living - it's how I lead my life.

I created Prophecy Posse to support those who yearn be strong diviners, prophesizers, and soothsayers. We use the tarot as a system for understanding how divination works...and that is one of the things that sets Prophecy Posse apart from other programs that stop at teaching you to memorize card meanings and using predetermined tarot spreads.

Application and registration details

Prophecy Posse has a short application process, which seeks to ensure that the program is a match for what students are seeking. The application to join the Prophecy Posse opens to the public on March 15, 2024. Submitting an application doesn't guarantee entrance into the class, which is limited to 22 students. Sterling will accept students into the program as she sees fit. The application is open until either the Posse is filled or April 15, 2024, whichever comes first.

An early registration rate of $985 is available to people who apply and are accepted into the Posse between March 15th and April 1st. The regular registration rate is $1,250 for those who apply and are accepted into Prophecy Posse between April 1st and April 15th. Scholarship Update, 4/5: Full scholarships have been awarded. Two partial scholarships are still available on a case-by-case basis. Up to two full scholarships are available and partial scholarships ($650) will be offered as Sterling sees fit. If you are seeking a scholarship, a scholarship application will be available on March 15, 2024. You will not need to fill out both applications. Full scholarships will be awarded on April 5, 2024. Partial scholarships will be awarded on a case-by-case basis by April 15, 2024.
Class details

Class starts on April 25, 2024 and ends on July 25, 2024. Click here for the Prophecy Posse syllabus. Classes will be on Thursdays from 6:30PM - 8:30PM Mountain Time.

There will be 10 two-hour classes and four break weeks. There will be group assignments and exercises assigned during the break weeks.

Classes are held via Zoom. They will be recorded and available for replay until December 31, 2024.

Class dates and times will be firm, but the topics may shift a bit depending on the needs of the Posse.

You will have the option of joining the private Sterling Moon Divination Academy (SMDA) Instagram page and Discord server to connect with alumni from past programs.

You will also receive complementary access to an alumni workshop that will be based on the interests of and exclusively for SMDA alumni. Date and topic TBD.

You will need a tarot deck based on the Smith-Rider-Waite (no oracle decks), a journal, reliable internet with a webcam and microphone, and Zoom. You will receive a copy of my zine "Tarot 101" prior to the first class.

A big part of this experience will involve connecting with other Posse members. Committing to showing up not just for yourselves, but for your classmates is very important. It is expected that Posse members show up consistently to class, missing no more than four live sessions.
